Pigeon Shooting Packages
Spring pigeon shooting is over winter oil seed rape and spring drillings of barley and oats
All decoying equipment is supplied. Shooting is on private farmland which SAC Shooting has leased the shooting rights of. Hunters are requested to respect the property of the farmer and SAC Shooting.
As with any wild bird, there can be no guarantee given as to the number of birds shot. The question as to when is the best time to shoot pigeons. The answer really is any time in season. Spring can be exciting, but is more weather dependant. If it has been a bad summer and autumn, summer harvest may be late. If it has been a bad winter, spring sowings may be late.
Spring Pigeon Shooting
We are now taking bookings for pigeon shooting in spring 2024.
Package includes:
- February, March & April on winter rape and spring drillings
- All equipment supplied
- Accommodation can be booked by clients at Saplinbrae Hotel and Lodges for 3 to 6 day trips
- Single days also available
Summer Pigeon Shooting
We are now taking bookings for Pigeon Shooting in Summer 2024.
Package includes:
- End of July, August and September is over barley and rape stubble and later over barley and wheat drillings
- All equipment supplied
- Accommodation can be booked by clients at Saplinbrae Hotel and Lodges for 3 to 6 day trips
- Single days also available
